Park City Ski Resort Miner's Camp Lodge

Park City, UT

Design through Construction Administrative Services

Park City Ski Resort’s Miners Camp Mid-Mountain lodge is the 3rd version of the mid-mountain prototype lodge that we have designed for Vail Resorts. Sitting at an elevation of approximately 8,000 feet above sea level and adjacent to the Silverlode lift and new Quicksilver Gondola, which connects Park City Ski Resort and The Canyons Ski Resort, the lodge addresses the strong need for additional dining and conditioned space in a mid-mountain location at the Park City Resort.

Taking inspiration from the rich mining history found in the Park City area and at the resort, the 500 seat lodge’s exterior and interiors successfully blend the old history and new vernacular with a variety of building material and color selections. Dining, scramble style servery, and full service kitchen was redesigned to accommodate preferred menu options at this location. The bar, lounge and restrooms make up the programmatic spaces.

The success of this lodge and previous lodges we have designed for Vail Resort has resulted in a 4th version of this model at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado.
