The renovation of the existing 18,200 sq ft lodge included, but was not limited to, a relocated check-in and newly remodeled restaurant dining facility. Closing in on 50 years of service, the lodge required more than a mere face lift. Programming changes brought new efficiency to a building suffering from years of ad-hoc needs. From the way guests check-in, to the way they order their meals, new technologies were integrated into the design. Modern stylistic changes blend into the mid-century modern era and with added touches of canyon styling, the lodge welcomes guests before a day on the rim.
